“BPG has helped North East Derbyshire District Council in many different ways. First, we asked them to undertake a Preliminary Risk Assessment to review a software contract for a consortium buy of a large system. We were very impressed with their professionalism and knowledge of this market and we contracted with them to seek a positive resolution to the issues that had arisen. Once we had decided to replace our systems we asked BPG to help us clarify and quantify the business objectives for a replacement system, providing us with training and knowledge transfer to assist us in drawing up our requirements, select the new vendor, construct and manage the contract and project manage the implementation. The new system was up and running within seven months from the initial concept to a fully live implementation. The project was judged by the Council and its peers as a model implementation. The whole process was overseen by BPG in conjunction with our in-house project team. The supplier of the system was so impressed with our approach and in particular the input of BPG that they cite our system as a case study for their other clients. We are now using BPG to lead a major review of the Council that we expect to create significant cost savings across our organisation. BPG has also assisted with other areas of our system infrastructure to ensure that we have a robust software environment on which the council can build its improvements.
